Program Guidelines

• Please arrive on time.
• Children under 3 must be accompanied by a parent or a caregiver.
• If your child becomes restless, please exit the Story Castly quietly.
• To save space, please park strollers outside the Story Castle.
• Please observe the library's NO FOOD OR DRINK policy.

 

 

Baby Steps Storytime

When: Wednesdays at 10:00 A.M.

Where: Main Branch in the Storycastle

Age: Newborns to 23 months

The Baby Steps program consists of simple stories, songs, sign language, and activities to promote positive learning experiences for ages 0-23 months and their parents/caregivers.

 

 

Toddler Time

When: Thursdays at 10:00 A.M.

Where: Main Storycastle

Age: 24 months to 36 months

Toddler Time consists of stories, songs, activities and crafts.

 

 

 

 

Preschool Storytime

Brown Branch:

Wednesdays at 10:00 A.M.

Main Branch:

Tuesdays at 10:00 A.M.

Weaver Branch:

Wednesdays at 10:00 A.M.

Age: 3-5 years

The preschool story time consists of stories, songs, activities, and crafts.

 

 

 

Saturday Story Lab

When: First Saturday of the month from 10:30 to Noon

Where: Main Rotary Room

Age: 6-12 years

Saturday Story Lab is a dynamic synthesis of both fiction and nonfiction materials presented through stories and hands-on activities with an emphasis on science experiments. This semester, we will explore topics such as geology, biology, nutrition and electricity! As a safety precaution, please wear closed-toed shoes.
