Tuscaloosa Public Library
The Tuscaloosa Public Library serves the 167,000 residents of Tuscaloosa County as well as students attending the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, Shelton State Community College and Stillman College with a full array of library services and materials from books to DVDs, from reference assistance to computer classes, from children’s story times to book discussions. Materials and programs are designed to meet the needs of all Tuscaloosians.
Library services are provided through the Main Library at 1801 Jack Warner Parkway, the Weaver Bolden Branch Library at 2937 18th Street, and Bookmobile service throughout the county. To extend library services to those who can’t utilize these traditional outlets, Books-by-Mail and the Subregional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped are provided.
