10--Whitewash a Fence Post--Main Library-- Children
are invited to decorate paper fence posts, which will then be
placed around the children's department.

and Scoundres Matinee Movie--2:00 PM in the Story
Castle-- Join us to watch The Adventures of Mark Twain,
a feature-lengh claymation fantasy based on the stories of Mark
Twain. This film is appropriate for all ages.
March 17- Jumpin'
Frog Contest--2:00 PM in the Story Castle-- Join
us for a Jumpin' Frog contest and a reading of Twain's short
story The Celebrated Jumpin' Frog of Calaveras County.
This program is for school age children.
March 18-Rascals
and Scoundres Matinee Movie--2:00 PM in the Rotary
Room-- Join us to watch The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
and enjoy old fashioned lemonade and snacks. This film is rated
PG.
March 19 and 26-Games
of Yesteryear--12-5 PM in the Children's Department-
Celebrate the Big Read by playing games such as Jacks, Pick-Up
Sticks, Checkers, and Marbles that Tom Sawyer would have played.
April 2--Bunny
Hop--3:00 PM in the Story Castle--Be preparet
to hop, hop, hop with bubbles, bubble wrap, and lots of hoppin'
fun music.
April 6--Steamboat
a Comin'--10 AM in the Story Castle--Celebrate
the Big Read with books and activities about Life on the Mississippi
with Mark Twain and Tom Sawyer. This program is designed for
preschoolers ages 3-5.
