E-Branch

Located in McFarland Mall near the Information Center

The 3M Foundation donated the e-Branch Library Kiosk in partnership with Public Information Kiosk, Inc. of Maryland to the Tuscaloosa Public Library. The Kiosk is among 25 that were placed in communities most affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita to provide people with another means to access information needed to help rebuild their lives. The free-standing workstation has direct links to FEMA, Red Cross, Hurricane Recovery Job Connection, Hurricane Insurance Information Center, databases for the Tuscaloosa Public Library System, Shelton State Community College, Stillman College, and the University of Alabama, as well as links to local, state, and government information. Perfect for the “on-the-go” consumer!
