On Friday, August 18, 2017, the Tuscaloosa Public Library will be closed at all locations for a technology upgrade. On that day, patrons will be able to return materials at library book drops. Access to the library’s catalog, databases, and library accounts will be down during the service upgrades. Staff will be training at the Main library, but the libraries will not be open for public business. The Tuscaloosa Public Library will reopen on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Once again, the Tuscaloosa Public Library appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding as TPL works to provide even better service to the community.
