Homework Alert is a communication tool designed to help teachers and students make the best use of public library resources. It is easy to use: Teachers fill out the assignment form below and submit it to the library. Library staff are then able to select appropriate materials from our collection of print, media, and electronic databases. When teachers use the Homework Alert, all students with the same assignment have a better chance of locating materials and information. Depending on the assignment, staff may set some resources aside to be used only to be used in the library to help ensure equal opportunity for access to all students with the same assignment.
