Library Safety Procedures

  • Main Library is Open to the public with Circulation services ONLY.
    • Patrons will only be allowed to check out materials and return materials.
    • Hours:  Tuesday – Thursday from 10am – 6pm | Friday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm | Sunday from 2pm – 6pm
  • The computer lab services will be limited.
    • Computer lab hours: 10am – 4pm
  • Masks are strongly preferred inside the library.
  • Patrons are required to maintain a 6-foot distance from others while inside the building.      
    • Patrons who do not comply will be asked to leave. 
  • Patrons are asked to choose their materials in a timely manner so that others may use the library. It is recommended that each patron spend no more than 45 minutes in the library.
  • Patrons are allowed to use the downstairs copier near the Circulation desk and the upstairs copier near the Reference desk.
  • Patrons are NOT allowed to use the online computer catalogs, phones, Rotary Room, or Local History Room.
  • No returns will be accepted at the Circulation Desk. Patrons are asked to return all library materials in the outside book drop or in the collection bins located at the front entrance of the library.  
  • The Friends of the Library bookstore has opened with limited hours: Tuesday and Friday, 11am – 3pm; Saturday, 11am – 1 pm. The library is accepting donations, except during the hours that the bookstore is open.
