Books-By-Mail at the Tuscaloosa Public Library is a personalized delivery service of library materials for Tuscaloosa County patrons confined to their homes, ensuring equitable access to library resources.
Program Features
- Twice a year a catalog of large print fiction and non-fiction books is mailed to Books-By-Mail patrons.
- Patrons request and return all books through the mail.
- Books are loaned for 4 weeks, with one 4-week renewal.
Program Requirements
- Tuscaloosa County Resident
- Valid library card
- Copy of picture ID
- Completed library card application
- Completed Books-By-Mail application
*Participation
in Books-By-Mail service requires authorization by a medical or certified professional.
